Abstract
⺠Effects of storage methods on biomass conversion were first systematically studied. ⺠Sugar yield for wet stored biomass was higher compared with dry stored biomass. ⺠Shredding reduced sugar conversion, but increased sugar yield. ⺠Material balance was established for evaluating the conversion of corn stover biomass. ⺠Mechanistic model for the effects of storages on biomass conversion were proposed.
