Abstract
⺠Extreme cyanobacterium cultured in 1.0 M NaHCO3 for the first trial of BICCAPS. ⺠Biomass production rate of 1.21 g/L/day obtained in culture with bicarbonate. ⺠0.256 M inorganic carbon can be supplied as bicarbonate in each batch of algae culture. ⺠BICCAPS can lead to new design of photobioreactor, without CO2 sparging.
