Abstract
⺠Various feedstocks had different performances, causing potential problem-shift. ⺠Jatropha, castor and waste oil were preferred feedstocks in the short term. ⺠Algae were preferred biodiesel feedstocks in the long term. ⺠Biodiesel production should consider potential environmental problems. ⺠Key processes for technology improvements in biodiesel production were identified.
