Abstract
⺠Chiral helical (co)polymers were synthesized from abietic acid. ⺠Chiral hydrogels were prepared from the chiral helical copolymer. ⺠The hydrogels demonstrated enantioselective recognition towards l-alanine. ⺠This study opens new uses of abietic acid.
