Abstract
⺠Fast pyrolysis of Miscanthus harvested at different senescence time was compared. ⺠Viscosity and water indexes were introduced to define bio-oil quality. ⺠Senescence impacted bio-oil quality and stability. ⺠Harvest time of Miscanthus can be extended to cover a wider harvest window.
