Abstract
⺠Production of methanol and ethanol from agricultural, forestry and animal waste. ⺠Sugarcane bagasse shows the highest potential for methanol production. ⺠Production of methanol is lowest with animal wastes. ⺠Tree stems show a promising potential for ethanol production. ⺠No ethanol production from animal wastes.
