Abstract
- Effect of rumen fluid-pretreatment on methane production of waste paper was evaluated.
- The VFAs and dCOD were produced from waste paper by the rumen fluid-pretreatment.
- Daily methane yield was improved by the rumen fluid-pretreatment.
- Cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin degradabilities were improved by the rumen fluid-pretreatment.
