Abstract
⺠Acid and alkali presoaking with EBI on biomass enzymatic hydrolysis. ⺠Alkali soaking enhanced hydrolysis and 59% glucose yield. ⺠Synergetic effect on removal of hemicellulose, lowering crystallinity improved enzymatic hydrolysis of the biomass.
