Abstract
⺠A model for the distribution of anaerobic digestion phases is introduced. ⺠About 40% of acidogenesis takes place in the second stage of a leach bed process. ⺠There is no separation of anaerobic digestion phases in a leach bed biogas plant. ⺠The presented model can be used to improve the control system of biogas plants.
