Abstract
► Effect of organic acids pretreatment on rose petals for the adsorption of metallic ions was studied. ► Conditions and kinetic parameters for biosorption were evaluated. ► The organic acids pretreatment lead to decrease the adsorption of lead and copper ions. ► Native rose petals biomass can be successfully used for the adsorption of both ions.
