Abstract
⺠CO2 fixation by Scenedesmus obtusiusculus is among the highest values for Scenedesmaceae. ⺠S. obtusiusculus tolerates gas stream with 10% of CO2 v/v. ⺠The microalga stores a high lipid content (55.7%) under nitrogen starvation. ⺠High lipid productivities (200 g mâ3 dâ1) are achieved with S. obtusiusculus.
