Abstract
⺠Rhizodeposits of Pennisetum setaceum showed feasibility of electrogenic activity. ⺠Electrode assemblies in root vicinity were effective than distant electrodes. ⺠Power output variation with different anodes evidenced key role of root exudates. ⺠Day time operation and saturated soil water condition showed effective electrogenesis.
