Abstract
► Lemna minor efficiently recovered nutrients from swine lagoon wastewater. ► L. minor accumulated high starch content (10-36%) under certain stress conditions. ► L. minor biomass was not recalcitrant to enzymatic saccharification. ► L. minor hydrolysates supported high-efficiency ethanol fermentation.
