Abstract
⺠Anaerobic fermentation broth could be efficiently treated by upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor. ⺠The highest chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal efficiency was obtained as 95.7%. ⺠The highest methane production rate was 0.30LmethanegCODremoved-1. ⺠The results of the study were interpreted using the various kinetic models. ⺠The results showed a close relationship with all kinetic models used.
