Abstract
► Chitosan hollow fibers were prepared by dry-wet spinning process. ► Tensile strength of hollow fibers was 47.57 MPa. ► The adsorption capacity of reactive blue 19 on the hollow fiber membranes was 454.5 mg g−1. ► RSM was used for analyzing and optimizing of the biosorption process. ► pH was the most significant factor that affect the adsorption capacity.
