Abstract
► A novel green microalgae strain, named Monoraphidium sp. FXY-10 was isolated. ► Microalgae cellular lipid content was 56.8% growing under autotrophic condition. ► Lipid productivity of heterotrophic microalgae was higher than autotrophic. ► Palmitic acid of heterotrophic microalgae was higher than the palm oil. ► Gravity sedimentation was proposed to be the harvesting method for biomass.
