Abstract
⺠The bioreduction of (4S)-(+)-carvone by Cryptococcus gastricus was optimized by RSM. ⺠First and second order polynomial equations were calculated. ⺠Experimental data were in good agreement with predicted values. ⺠After optimization, bioreduction yields were maximized. ⺠At the same time, unsought side reactions were minimized.
