Abstract
⺠Phenotype study of sludge isolates and flocculation activity of EPS from sludge. ⺠Bacillus, Serratia and Yersinia spp. had varied carbon source utilization spectrum. ⺠Sludge was first time used as a medium for EPS production. ⺠EPS from these strains exhibited distinct flocculation behavior.
