Abstract
► We develop a comprehensive Eulerian-Lagrangian three-dimensional numerical model. ► Complex granular flow, mass and heat transfer, chemical reactions are considered. ► Simulations are performed in a fluidized bed forestry residues gasifier. ► Product gas compositions and carbon conversion efficiency are investigated. ► The predicted results compare well with the experimental data.
