Abstract
► Ethyl levulinate can be produced from wheat straw by direct conversion in ethanol media. ► The higher yield of ethyl levulinate 17.91% can be obtained, representing a theoretical yield 51.0%. ► Wheat straw is a good material for ethyl levulinate production.
