Abstract
⺠Selective production of olefins from lignocelluloses using 6 wt.% La/HZSM-5 catalyst. ⺠The highest olefins yield from sugarcane bagasse was 0.12 kg olefins/(kg biomass). ⺠Catalytic pyrolysis led to higher yields of olefins as comparing to pyrolysis. ⺠Biomass with a higher cellulose or hemicellulose produced more olefins than lignin.
