Abstract
► We performed Base-Catalysed Depolymerisation of lignin in a continuous flow reactor. ► High yields of monomers-rich fraction and oligomers-rich fraction were obtained. ► A high selectivity into pyrocathecol was achieved under high severities. ► 31P NMR was used to characterize the raw material and the depolymerised lignin. ► Partial deoxygenation of oligomers is observed and explained.
