Abstract
⺠The S0-containing DSR effluent was used as coagulants for zinc(II) in wastewaters. ⺠The formed S0 colloids adsorb zinc(II) ions via electrostatic interactions. ⺠The zinc(II) adsorbed S0 colloids enhanced coagulation efficiency of SS in DSR effluents. ⺠We showed that DSR effluent as coagulant a promising DSR post-treatment.
