Abstract
⺠Glucose yields from switchgrass were modeled for four SAA pretreatment conditions. ⺠Hemicellulase addition resulted in glucose yields over 85% after SAA pretreatment. ⺠High glucose yields are possible with SAA under a range of temperatures and times. ⺠SAA conditions resulting in highest delignification did not have highest yields. ⺠Hemicellulase addition did not improve yields beyond 80% for mild SAA treatment.
