Abstract
⺠We set up a pilot experience to utilize wasted sardine oil for biogas production. ⺠We developed an anaerobic co-digestion process of wasted sardine oil with pig slurry. ⺠We performed dynamic continuous pilot trials with a mobile biogas plant in a pig farm. ⺠Methane productivity was enhanced in four times, adding waste sardine oil to pig slurry. ⺠Robust process was achieved, wasted sardine oil could be used at farm biogas plants.
