Abstract
⺠Separation with PTFE membrane enables to use 1-dodecanol as an extractant. ⺠Extraction of butanol with 1-dodecanol reduced efficiently the growth inhibition. ⺠PTFE membrane-assisted extraction exhibited high butanol productivity per area.
