Abstract
⺠We studied the effects of aging on the sorptivity of rice straw biochar and fly ash. ⺠Increasing the aging periods and temperature reduced their sorptivity. ⺠Rice straw biochar's sorptivity was greater than fly ash's, regardless aged or not. ⺠Rice straw biochar is a good functional material for controlling organic pollutants.
