Abstract
⺠Biocathode MFC could greatly improve the Congo red decolorization rate. ⺠The power density obtained by biocathode MFC was lower. ⺠The catalytic activity of the microorganisms was comparable with that of platinum. ⺠Cathode type could induce the difference in anode-attached populations.
