Abstract
⺠First report of amylase from Marinobacter sp. ⺠The amylase is purified to homogeneity and characterized. ⺠The enzyme is heat and solvent stable. ⺠It produces maltotriose and maltotetraose upon starch hydrolysis. ⺠They can be useful in bread making industries for effective antistaling effect.
