Abstract
⺠Hydrolytic enzyme activities were quantified for ASBRs treating real OFMSW. ⺠High-rate protein degradation is associated with enhanced performance of TASBR. ⺠TASBR provides a synergy of thermophilic digestion and sequencing-batch operation. ⺠Extracellular enzyme activities of thermophiles evidence rapid hydrolysis of OFMSW.
