Abstract
⺠Combustion characteristics of corncob in three combustion modes are compared. ⺠We examine the mechanisms of formation and reduction of CO and NO in VFBC. ⺠Combustion fractions in the VFBC vary with different combustion modes. ⺠NO emission decreases by 30% and 15% in FGR and staged mode compared with direct mode.
