Abstract
⺠Hydrolytic and methanogenic activity of seven microbial consortia were evaluated. ⺠Biomethane potential of fique's bagasse as lignocellulosic residue was determined. ⺠Mixture of inoculums showed a synergy effect improving the biomethane potential. ⺠Ruminal liquid and pig manure are specific consortia for anaerobic reactor startup.
