Abstract
⺠The effect of different trophic modes on lipid production of Scenedesmus quadricauda was studied. ⺠S. quadricauda could grow on photoautotrophic, heterotrophic and mixotrophic modes. ⺠Different CO2 and glucose concentrations affected cell and lipid yield significantly. ⺠Maximum lipid content was obtained in mixotrophic culture. ⺠It is feasible to culture microalgae for lipid production in wastewater.
