Abstract
⺠Biomass pellets were tested in a 200 kW downdraft gasifier. ⺠Pelletized biomass leads to high pressure drop, difficult gasifier control and fine residues. ⺠The gasification of biomass pellets leads to good syngas compositions. ⺠Pelletized biomass should be considered only as complementary fuel in co-gasification with other feedstock.
