Abstract
⺠Integration of algal biodiesel production with cane sugar mill was investigated. ⺠Material and energy balance computer simulations compare different dewatering scenarios. ⺠Available resources from mill can support production of 5.8 million L biodiesel/yr. ⺠A 530 ha algae farm can reduce CO2 emissions of the mill by 15%.
