Abstract
⺠Crude enzymes used for hydrolysis of microwave alkali pretreated wheat straw. ⺠Factors affecting hydrolysis studied by sequential statistical PBD and BBD methodology. ⺠Fermentation of hydrolysate by Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Pichia stipitis and their co-culture. ⺠Carbon dioxide released during fermentation also studied.
