Abstract
⺠Process integration can decrease energy demand, GWP, water demand significantly. ⺠Energy demand is lowered by 3-12 GJ/ton-biodiesel through process integration. ⺠GWP can be lowered by 71% compared to petroleum fuel. ⺠Energy demand and GWP for integrated process are less sensitive to lipid content. ⺠GWP is increased with increase in lipid content (for substitution allocation).
