Abstract
► By hydrothermal treatment of OPM two fractions were obtained. ► HS fraction, rich in cellulose and lignin was subjected to pulping process. ► From pulping resulting two fractions: liquid, lignin-rich, and solid, cellulose-rich. ► The pulp can be used for the bioethanol production by SSF. ► Olive pruning residual (OPR) was evaluated for energy.
