Abstract
► Lipids produced by Chlorella vulgaris ESP-31 are converted to biodiesel enzymatically. ► The lipase was produced from an indigenous Burkholderia sp. C20 isolate. ► The Burkholderia lipase was immobilized on alkyl-grafted nanocomposites (Fe3O4-SiO2). ► Wet microalgal biomass was directly converted to biodiesel via transesterification.
