Abstract
⺠Continuous pretreatment of biomass performed with extruder typed equipment. ⺠Showed the high sensitivity of interaction between acid concentrations and reaction temperatures. ⺠Higher enzymatic digestibility was obtained comparing with that of conventional batch process. ⺠More detailed technical refinements have to be explored were left for commercialization.
