Abstract
⺠The algal hydrolysate can improve enzymatic hydrolysis of lignocellulose. ⺠The algal hydrolysate had functions of pH buffer and peptide/amino acid provider. ⺠The glucose yield was greatly increased using algal hydrolysate as the solution. ⺠Combining cellulosic/algal biomass provides a new pathway for biofuels production.
