Abstract
⺠EFB can be used as raw material for the production of bleached pulp. ⺠An enzymatic pre-treatment improved the properties of the bleached pulps. ⺠The sequential application of xylanase and laccase was the most efficient treatment. ⺠Even after accelerated ageing, the XLEP pulp presented the best properties.
