Abstract
⺠Biochar ash content depends on feedstock, volatile matter on pyrolysis temperature. ⺠Fixed carbon contents decrease for biochars with more than 20% ash. ⺠Classification of stability improves using both volatile matter and H:C ratios. ⺠Biochars with less than 2% ash show greatest pH increase with pyrolysis temperature.
