Abstract
⺠Cloning and characterization of a Sporotrichum thermophile GH61 (StCel61a). ⺠StCel61a exhibited very weak hydrolytic activity on specific glucans and xylans. ⺠StCel61a enhanced lignocellulose hydrolysis when added to Celluclast or cellulases. ⺠The enhancing effect was related to the lignin content of the substrate. ⺠The synergistic effect of StCel61a was stimulated by antioxidants.
