Abstract
⺠The ability of Pichia farinose to solubilize insoluble phosphate was first reported. ⺠P. farinose showed high resistance against extreme environmental stresses. ⺠P. farinose cultured with spent mushroom substrate (SMS) could be biofertilizer. ⺠SMS biofertilizer significantly improved the growth of soybean in pot experiments.
