Abstract
⺠The C, H and O content decrease by more than 85%, 67% and 91%, respectively. ⺠The maximum porosity appears at char conversion of 48.6%. ⺠Ds and dave show a good linear relationship during steam gasification. ⺠The char becomes more ordered and enriched with larger aromatic ring systems. ⺠K, Mg and Ca show a similar behavior and their concentrations reach maxima at 60.3%.
