Abstract
⺠We investigated the ability of glycogen production in Arthrospira platensis. ⺠We optimized light intensity and nitrate supply for glycogen production improvement. ⺠The glycogen production reached 1.03 g L-1. ⺠It is the highest performance ever reported in microalgae. ⺠The result supports A. platensis as promising feedstock for biorefineries.
