Abstract
												⺠We isolate one homofermentative l-lactic acid producer from a traditional Korean food. ⺠Lactobacillus paracasei LA104 has the industrial potential. ⺠LA104 effectively produces l-lactic acid from the green microalga Hydrodictyon reticulum. ⺠This study proposes a novel and cost-effective l-lactic acid production method.
