Abstract
⺠Variovorax paradoxus 7bCT5 produces a mixture of high molecular weight bioemulsifiers. ⺠The bioemulsifiers have suitable biodegradability, toxicity and sorption properties for environmental release. ⺠The bioemulsifiers shows a good potential for removing crude-oil from contaminated shorelines.
