Abstract
⺠A laboratory set-up was designed to conduct enzymatic hydrolysis of liquid-hot-water-pretreated sweet sorghum bagasse. ⺠The optimum impeller for hydrolysis is plate-and-frame impeller. ⺠Fed-batch hydrolysis was applied. ⺠The solids loading can reach to 30%, and thus 113.8 g/L total sugar can be achieved. ⺠Ethanol concentration can reach to 43.36 g/L.
