Abstract
► A laboratory set-up was designed to conduct enzymatic hydrolysis of liquid-hot-water-pretreated sweet sorghum bagasse. ► The optimum impeller for hydrolysis is plate-and-frame impeller. ► Fed-batch hydrolysis was applied. ► The solids loading can reach to 30%, and thus 113.8 g/L total sugar can be achieved. ► Ethanol concentration can reach to 43.36 g/L.
